Committees

Hamilton West HOA now has several committees which support our Board of Directors and our Property Management Company. All committees are made up of homeowners who volunteer their time and talents to our community.

Covenant Committee
Contact - Bob Holmquist S104

This committee works to assist the Board in its work to (a) educate and gain community consensus for acting on rules and enforcement (b) conduct periodic reviews of our rules when requested by the Board (c) act reasonably with rules and consequences (d) be consistent and uniform in the ways our rules are applied to all our residents and (e) advise on appropriate and reasonable exceptions.
Clubhouse Committee
Contact: Sue Smith - H102

This committee manages our clubhouse - making sure that the clubhouse is kept clean and is stocked with needed supplies. Clubhouse reservations for private homeowner parties can be made with our Property Manager. Our Social Committee - Jan Dimambro U-105 and Carolyn Newkirk K-105 - operates as a subcommittee under the Clubhouse planning for breakfasts, potlucks, out-to-lunch bunch gatherings and other activities. Our Holiday/Seasonal Committee operates as a subcommittee as well and plans decoration for specific holidays and functions.
Finance Committee
Contact - Nancy Theysohn Q-101

This committee assists the Board of Directors with managing the community finances. They monitor the budget to keep expenses and reserve expenditures in check. They also assist with the development of the annual budget and reserve projections - and work with the Board Treasurer on special projects.
Technology and Communications Committee
Contact: Jan Sherrouse L103
This committee works to increase communications and homeowner participation. They strive to increase communications with a community handbook and community surveys. Some of the ways they encourage community participation is through Newsletters, telephone Call-Em-All, email MemberGrams and the Hamilton West website. They also work with the clubhouse committee by sponsoring interesting informational programs at the clubhouse.

If you are interested in volunteering your time, there is a committee that would love to have you on board.
