A ham & cheese breakfast casserole served at our May 2017 Breakfast

Servings:

Medium

Total Time:
1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients:
16 slices of white bread, remove crusts, cubed.  (I kept bread frozen for easier cutting)

1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese cubed ot shredded
6 eggs
3 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon onion salt (I used minced onion)
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
3 cups crushed cornflakes
1/2 cup butter melted

Directions:
Grease 9 x 13 dish.  Spread 1/2 bread, add ham and both cheeses.  Cover with rest of bread.Mix eggs, milk, onion salt and dry mustard.  Pour over bread cubes, ham, cheeses. Combine cornflakes and butter for topping and sprinkle on top.Bake at 375 for 1 hour.

You can make the night before or that morning.

Cook's Notes:
It's a pain to make but so good it's worth it.
