Pecan Log

Candy log rolled in pecans and then sliced.

Ingredients:
1 quart chopped pecans
1 lb. chopped dates
1-14 oz. crushed vanilla wafers
1 can eagle brand milk

Directions:
Save back a little of the wafers to roll logs in.

Mix all ingredients, using your hand to thoroughly mix. Form into a roll, or rolls and then roll them in the crushed wafers. Wrap in Saran Wrap or waxed paper.

Cook's Notes:
This is a great treat at Christmas. It is a very rich candy.
