Texas Sheet Cake

A yummy moist chocolate sheet cake.

Ingredients:
Cake--
1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Cooking Oil
4 Tbsp. Cocoa
1 Cup Water

2 Cups Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Sour Milk (add 1/2 tsp vinegar to milk)
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Vanilla

Frosting--
1/2 Cup Butter
4 Tbsp. Cocoa
6 Tbsp. Milk
1/2 to 1 pound powdered sugar
1 Tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and heat until chocolate is melted. Set aside.

Combine remaining 7 cake ingredients in a large bowl and then blend in first mixture.

Pour batter into a greased sheet cake pan and bake for 30-50 minutes until cake is done. Frost cake while it is HOT. Make the frosting while the cake bakes.

Frosting--
Combine in a saucepan and heat until bubbles form around th edge. Remove from heat, the butter, cocoa and milk.

Add 1/2 to 1 pound of powdered sugar until good consistency. Add 1 Tsp. vanilla, and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.

Spread over hot cake.

Cook's Notes:
This cake is better if made the day before.
