Aunt Fay's Brownies

Chewy, nutty brownies made with cocoa.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup melted Crisco
3 tbsp. cocoa, leveled
3/4 cups flour
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1&1/4 cups sugar (sift with cocoa)
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Pour melted Crisco into mixing bowl and stir in eggs, vanilla, salt, flour, cocoa and nuts (put nuts in last).

Grease and flour and 11-inch X 7-inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
