Oatmeal cookies

Yummy and chewy oatmeal cookies.

Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1&1/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups oats (quick or old fashioned uncooked)

Directions:
Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined flour, soda, salt, mix well. Stir in oats. Drop by rounded teaspoon-fullls onto greased cookie sheet; bake in preheated moderate oven 350 degrees 9 to 11 minutes or until light golden brown
