Pecan Crescent Cookies

Crisp butter cookies with pecans and dusted in powdered sugar.

2 hours

Ingredients:
1 cup pecans (in food processor until coarse like sand)
1 cup butter softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar (sifted after measured)
2 tsp vanilla
2&1/2 cups flour (sifted before measured)

Directions:
Beat butter & Powdered sugar until creamy. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Gradually add flour beating until soft dough forms. Cover and chill 1 hour. Divide dough into 5 portions-divide each portion into 12 pieces. Roll dough into 2 inch logs curving ends to form crescents. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. 350 degrees, 10-12 minutes
(Roll warm cookies in extra powdered sugar)
