Ingredients:
8 to 10 ozs. of green noodles
1 clove garlic, peeled
1/2 tsp salt or more
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
5 or 6 tablespoons butter
4 to 5 leaves fresh basil, chopped or 1/2 tsp dried
1/3 cup grated Parmesan or Gruyere cheese
Directions:
Cook the noodles as directed until they are just tender. Drain well in a colander and return them to the sauce pan in which they were cooked. Add butter, garlic and basil. Salt to taste and sprinkle heavily with freshly ground black pepper. Mix well and pour into a large serving dish. Top with grated

Green fettucine-Italian green noodles can be found in most Italian markets or in groceries specializing in unusual foods. Homemade noodles are great also.
