John's Shrimp Kabobs

Shishkabobs with shrimp and vegetables.

Ingredients:
1&1/2 pounds jumbo shrimp
Bacon strips
2 large Red Bell Peppers (cut into 2 inch pieces)
2 large Green Bell Peppers (cut in 2 inch pieces)
1 large onion (cut into 2 inch pieces)

Directions:
Peel and devein shrimp
Cut bacon strips in half and wrap a half piece of the bacon around each shrimp, seciring with a toothpick.
Alternate shrimp, bell peppers and onions on skewers. Start cooking over hot coals. Brush with BBQ sauce several times while cooking. Cook until shrimp is done and veggies are roasted.
Cook's Notes:
You may also put mushrooms on the skewers but you need to be gentle while cooking as they break easily.
