Simple Vinaigrette

Ingredients:
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2/3 cup extra-virgin oilive oil
Directions:
Place all ingredients except oil in work bowl of a food processor or blender and process slowly. Add oil in a thin stream, while the motor is running, until all oil is added and dressing is silky smooth.
Serve at once or store at room temperature for up to a week. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before serving. Makes 1 cup
