Grilled Nectarines
Submitted by Ted Lowes on Jun 29, 2011

Grilled nectarines with blueberry preserves

Servings:
4

Complexity:
Very Easy

Total Time:
30 min.

Ingredients:
4 ripe nectarines or peaches
2 teaspoons canola oil
8 teaspoons blueberry preserves

Directions:
Prepare charcoal fire or preheat a gas grill to medium.

Halve the nectarines and remove the pits. Brush the cut side of each half lightly with oil.

Place the fruit, cut side down on the grill and cook, uncovered, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Turn the nectarines over and spoon 1 teaspoon of preserves into the cavity of each. Continue grilling until the fruit is tender but not mushy, about 5 minutes longer. Serve hot.

Cook's Notes:
This is great with pork loin roast. Also, we pick up the sugar free blueberry preserves at the different blueberry farms in our area.
