Italian Christmas Chowder

Warm, rich, spicy chowder.

Ingredients:
1 lb. sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup celery
2 cloves garlic
1-14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
4 cups has brown potatoes (frozen ok)
5 cups chicken broth
1 package chicken gravy
Oregano and basil to taste
1 10 oz package frozen spinach
2 cups milk
Directions:
Brown together sausage, celery, onion and 2 cloves garlic. Drain.
Add and bring to a boil: chicken broth and can tomatoes
Add and simmer for approximately 10 minutes the has brown potatoes and spinach
Whisk chicken gravy mix and milk. Add to soup and stir constantly until thickened
Prior to serving add 1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese (or garnish as desired)
