Baked Sliced Beets

An easy way to add beets to your family's diet and their delicious

Ingredients:
16 medium- sized beets
¼ c. sugar
¾ tsp salt
¼ tsp paprika
3 T. butter
1 T. lemon juice
1/3 c. water
Grated or sliced onions
Directions:
Grease a 7” baking dish. Wash, slice and place the beets in layers into dish. Season them with sugar, salt and paprika. Dot with butter & add lemon juice, water and onions.
Cover the dish closely and bake beets in a hot oven, 400, for 30 min. or until they are tender. Stir them twice.
