Grilled Okra

Skewered Okra, grilled on the BBQ

Ingredients:
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp dried basil
1 lb okra
Directions:
If using wooden skewers, soak for at least 1 hour before grilling.
Preheat grill to high heat.
Thread skewersthrough top and bottom of okra
In a small bowl combine all ingredients except okra. Brush oil mixture over okra.
Grill 3 minutes, flip and grill for an additional 2 to 4 minutes.
