Servings:
Group

Complexity:
Medium

Total Time:
2 hours

Ingredients:
10 - 28oz cans diced tomatoes
12 medium onions
2 rounded cups with liquid jalapeno peppers
4 cups vinegar
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup salt
2 T. garlic powder
4 tsp. chili powder
4 tsp. black pepper
2&1/2 tsp. cumin

Directions:
Chop tomatoes, onions, peppers in food processor. Add vinegar and dry ingredients in large pot (10-12 qt.). Bring to a boil. Reduce to medium and cook for 45 minutes.
Seal in pint jars
Makes 24 pints.

Cook's Notes:
Got this recipe from a friend at church. It's great! You can do half the recipe. She said she puts the sauce into hot jars, puts the lids and on tightly and then turns them upside down. They seal themselves. You can also bath them in boiling water if you like.
